So thursday I went to get my learners permit with my grandma (Uma) and Darian. I'm sorry to say I didn't pass but I did get my state I.D with the crappiest picture of me ever. But I'm going back Monday to try again. This is a huge deal for me because I'm going to start Driver's ed. I've been bugging my mom for 2 YEARS to let me get my learners and do driver's ed. She can be so controlling. So this is pretty huge.
Another huge thing is I cut my hair off. It's pretty short now, just under my chin. Everyone loves it. I've gotten sooooo many compliments on it. I like it better too. My long hair was always multi-colored at the ends from accidently getting dipped in paint and ink so often. It's not in my way nearly as much anymore. It's freeing to have my hair be so short. It's lighter. It also cut like 20 minutes off my morning routine. What really made me decide to cut though was Darian's comment that he liked short hair on women and how often my long hair got in his way. So thursday after I failed my test, we went to walmart and I got it cut and dyed dark. He loves it but he also said he loved my long hair. It doesn't matter to him. I've always been "this is how I am: like it or not."
Cutting my hair was my choice.
