Tattoos are Addictive
So it hasn't even been a month since I got my first ever tattoo and my lip ring. But I already want another tattoo. I'm thinking of getting it in March.

I want that in a different font across my side, below the ribs and above the belly button on my right side. I considered getting my belly button pierced but I don't think I'd like it. Plus, I love this quote. "We are not our failures" makes it sound like we are more then the mistakes we have made, we are how we handled those mistakes, how we turned those around, we are our successes.
music music music
I can't sing, I'm tone deaf and I have no musical abilites what-so-ever. I tried learning to play the trumpet when I was 11 and I just failed. But even with my lack of musical abilities I love music. I love how my boyfriend likes most of the same stuff I do. I like that my friends think my music tastes are a little weird. And it probably is kind of weird how when I like a song I get obsessed with it and listen to it until I'm sick of it. These are the songs I'm currently obsessed with:
- Louder than Thunder by The Devil Wears Prada
- Relentless Chaos by Miss may i
- U Should Have Killed Me When U had the Chance by A Day to Remember
- Pretty Girl by Sugarcult (only the live version, the recorded one is crap)
- Make Damn Sure by Taking Back Sunday
Now I should probably meantion 2 out of 3 of the songs above include sceamo and some pretty hard-core lyrics. Actually, the stuff above is light compaired to some of the other stuff I listen to when I'm angry (Chelsea Grin, Suicide Silence). It's just some of the music I like. Not every band I like is hard-core. I also like Ke$ha, Katy Perry, and Foster the People. Hell, I even like semi-indie bands like Florence and the Machine, The Killers, Brights Eyes and The Smiths (i seriously <3 The Smiths. to die by your side is such a heavenly way to die). Often, my friends and family don't get my music tastes. Even Darian, my boyfriend, thinks I'm weird for my love of The Smiths, Ke$ha and A Day to Remember. Although, recently I learned he also loved a couple songs that are some of my favorites (and have been for years):
- Iris by The Goo Goo Dolls
- Cold by Crossfade
Iris has been my favorite love song since I heard it for the first time when I was 12. You have no idea how excited I was when he told me he loved it. I've kind of always wanted to shared that song with a boyfriend as our song and now I can :D it makes me ridiculously happy because my previous boyfriends didn't know or like the song and just thought it was depressing and weird. Another one of my favorite love songs is Reasons to Love You by Meiko. It's just beautiful, like a perfect wedding song.
I think that's it for my review on music today. I'll probably post more later or on a different subject. Thanks for reading :)
